Hey Jude! Hey Jesus!

神未曾忘記過你  In the midst of hardship, it's so easy to be caught up in our circumstances. We may often wonder where God is and why doesn't He take away our pain? Genesis 39:2-3 2  The  Lord  was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.   3  When his master saw that the  Lord  was with him and that the  Lord  gave him success in everything he did. Though Joseph was wronged, faced unjust imprisonment, the Lord was always with Him. God's favour was on him even in the darkest times.  God was with Joseph all along, God will also be with you through the ups and downs of life. Do not be afraid, do not be dismayed, He will deliver you when the timing is right. Hang in there, pray always, submit your requests to Him and He will definitely come to your rescue. Will you choose to trust?

Today's message reminds me to acknowledge my weakness as a human being and recognize my need for my source, my provider and my ABBA FATHER. God doesn’t need us to be strong in ourselves, our abilities, or our know-how! Proverbs 3:5,6 exhorts us,  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and  He will make your paths straight. Often times I thought I was capable to do things well without anyone's help. However, the fact is--there are so many things in life I can't control. There had been occasions I knew I could do nothing to change the situation. During those times I was again reminded that we humans are so weak and helpless without God. What can we do then? 1. We acknowledge our weaknesses. Let’s admit our limitations. Without Christ, we are weak — and not just a little weak — we’re totally helpless and hopeless. But believer, we are not without Christ! 2. We rely on His strength! We are able to s...

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Romans 8:15-16 Today's reading comes from Romans 8. It talks about believers being set free from slavery and accepted as sons and daughters in Christ. If God is my father, the source of joy, peace and abundance, why am I still enslaved to fear? Fear has always been one of my greatest enemies. I can fear all sorts of things, whether be fearing that I am not perfect enough to be loved, not smart enough to do things right , not pretty enough to be noticed, not being able to say the things right to be accepted...etc.  All the fears the devil speaking into my mind  always seem so true that they overwhelm me and make me think that I am the worst person in the world and I am not going to be any better. What is the greatest treasure in life? Through my devotion, I saw that Jacob found his ultimate treasure in life and in the end he embraced it with thankfulness and joy. He found Jesus by his side. He was overjoyed that God of Abraham and Isaac talked to him personally. After he encountered with God, his life turned around. My personal prayer today is that I would draw near to God and invite Him to talk with me personally and privately. Even a silent whisper may be the greatest treasure I gain today. What is God telling me today? >Be renewed and transformed. Increase your thirst for me and I will bless you abundantly. I have never promised a smooth life but what I give, the world cannot give you. Seek it with all your heart. Love me and love the people, my child. Pray for this world and bless them with the hands I have given and blessed you.

It is hard for me to focus on Christ first thing in the morning when there can be so many things waiting for me to prepare and do for my beloved students. I often have excuses to have breakfasts or get my correction done before my daily devotion. Everyday is a challenge for me to rid of myself, commit to God, then start my day. My prayer is that I will first of all make a commitment to myself and diligently follow the plan and always pray that I will decrease and God will increase in me.

I have a freind from high schol who I truly respect. Not only her, the whole family is truly a real respresentation of Christ's love and grace.  I see.selflessness, deep joy and strong family unity in their lives. Their characters and the way they live their lives were powerful and unforgettable testimonies to me. I rarely think about over the years how much impact other people have placed in my life, and often forget about how God weaved all these people and circumstances to bless me and make me into the being He wanted me to be. I have received so much yet taken so much of these special plans for granted. In His unfailing love, He continues to pour out His grace and love to me regarless.

1.Anyone who is thirsty, he may draw water from God and he will never be thirsty. If we know Jesus is the source of all, we would ask Him for living water. 2. I am the light, I am to shine in the world.     Love is here, love is now. First day teaching at school. Was an awesome day! The teachers around me are great and students are cute so far. Loving it. My ultimate goal is to be the light in school, spread the gospel to the new generation and see lives turned around and witness young generations becoming crazy for Jesus!

A few friends have told me that sometimes when they pray, they can't hear the voice of God. Here are a few reasons why God's voice can't be heard. 1. Your heart is "noisy"!      When you are in a state of chaos, it is difficult to hear the voice of God. If there are too many things going on in your mind, then God's voice only becomes one of the noises. 2. You may want to spend more time with God. Are you spending time conversing with God? Do you know the more you talk with someone, the more you can recognize one's voice? It is the same likewise with God. The more you spend time with God, the better you are able to recogize His voice and the clearer you will understand how He speaks. 3. You are only looking for what you want to hear. God may have already spoken to you, but it is contrary to your desire, since it isn't something you are seeking, you categorize the voice as the devil's voice. I get annoyed when I hear something I don't like to hear. This is the reality in life. But I am learning to control my anger and my mouth. I know there are many things I want to say and want to 'win' the battle. But ultimately mouth fights never work and only leads to relationship breakdown. God is my refuge, my support, my source of peace and comfort. When no one understands me, He does. I am thankful that I know He will always be my guide in times of need. No one will move me because I am standing firm in God. 

God answered my prayers today. I prayed a prayer the other week to ask God to bring me to wherever He wants me to and lead me to be a witness for Him. God works everything for His good, and His plan cannot fail. Yesterday my neighbour rang our doorbell to ask if I was interested in trying out an English teaching job at a junior high school. I was excited but later realised the school was too far I called up to express my unwillingness to go 1 hr before. The teacher convinced me and I went in the end. The interview went smoothly and without me doing anything, I got accepted! The process for getting to teach at a public school is far more than difficult. It is a long long journey and for me seemed an impossible path to pursue. I had thought about getting a job as a public teacher, but I had to give up. I don't know why God literally flew me through this process, but I know it is definitely His plan for me. He said He would provide and will always provide for me, so there is no n...

Thankful that He brought small group sisters to bless me and have fun together. Practicing the guitar, chatting and learning English. More to that, He even sent an angel to help me with card printing. So amazing! Arigato kamisama. Bless mummy, she will have a breakthrough...

To see people being touched by the love of God. I try to think what sort of day makes me go to bed with a big smile on the face. Then I realize the answer is a whole day enjoying the presence of God. No days can compare to any day with full of God's presence and revelation. Seeing Him working, drawing close to Him and simply be in His presence. Oh, I think this is what I need the most now. Simply be in the presence of God. Forget about the worries and earthly concerns and just be with Him and immerse in His love.

Today I heard people saying at church, "oh he or she can pray very well!". Hmmm....when I heard this statement, it caught my attention. I stopped and wondered for a while what was wrong. What does it mean by praying well? Isn't it just having a conversation with God? How can a person know it was "good"? Some people don't see beyond the "great prayers"- which comes from a vibrant relationship with God yet care about what words are being used and how much scripture was being quoted or even how enthusiastically the prayer was prayed. A lot of people are afraid to pray because they think they can't say what they are supposed to say and are afraid of making mistakes. Why afraid of making mistakes when it is just a conversation with God?

Loneliness is one of the biggest enemies in our lives. I enjoy being alone all the time but at the same time am afraid of being lonely. Today, a voice spoke to my ears and told me lies. Being alone and being lonely are totally 2 different subjects. Being alone means you are by yourself and no one is around you. But you don't neccessarily feel lonely instead you may even enjoy the moment without any distraction. We cannot deny however that we all have moments when we aren't neccessarily alone, but feel absolutely lonely. Being lonely is a state of emotion that you feel no one knows you, understand you or cares for you. It is a feeling that cause you to feel you are the last person people will notice and no one would care even if something significant happens in your life. With all the pains and sorrow in your life, you are all by yourself. Sometimes you may even feel your family members, best friends or lover have not noticed or understood your needs. And when these things o...

I had a terrible tummy pain yesterday. The pain was so intense I vomitted and lost strength to speak. During the pain, I could not stop thinking and asking God why this kind of suffering fell on to me and wondered if I had done anything that caused this pain to fall on me. However I felt God reminded me of a promise in the bible that it was not because what sin my family or I have committed, but this happened so that the glory of God may be revealed. It was so much easier to blame on so many other things. When something terrible happens, we as humans like to find reasons and causes to justify the result. So we often start imagining and brainstorming the possiblities of the reasons that caused the problems. I did the same, during the pain, I started going over my family members and myself and guessed if any of us have dobe anything that caused God to anger hence rain down punishment on me. I prayed to God that 1. I would take up the guitar and receive the best lessons so I may give Him the best. 2. Start an English bible study to reach out to Taiwanese people GOD ANSWERED BOTH OF THEM! Some young people in our church have recently started forming a guitar/ukeleke circle(literally last week). More to that, the instructor has recently been nominated to become the Worship leader at church. He is giving me the best without me even approaching the leader. Our church for the first time is initiating an English bible study group. They are starting in July and I am thankful to able to be part of the team. Two girls are thiking of joining already. I am excited what is ahead of me. Praise God for the smooth start. Mum is slowly convinced that God will provide my needs and is supporting my vision in creating a Christian gift ministry. Yay.
