Yokohama photos+ Exericed faith

Trip to Yokohama on labour's day It's a great place for couples^^ My lovely friend, Makiko Beautiful night Kitty chan and me , don't you think we look like twins? (please do not throw up^^) Yokohama Just as I listened to the radio, God spoke to me, and I would like to share.... Romans 4 18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” d]">[ d ] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” Abraham exercised his faith by trusting and believing that God was ABLE to overcome his and his wif...

I want none of my loved ones to perish

Four men were camping outside their city, quarantined from their families and the public. Their city was under siege by a brutal army. Thousands had died of starvation, times were desperate; these men had no job, no food, no hope. Within 24 hours they came into a windfall! They stuffed their pockets and hauled away and hid food, valuables, and money. Suddenly, all four stopped and looked at one another, engulfed with a feeling of guilt. They agreed together: “our city is being decimated with starvation and here we have found a limitless supply of food and valuables; we do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we have shared with no one.” Many Christians are in this same predicament. They have found God’s forgiveness and the treasure of salvation in Christ. They have joyfully inhaled the nutritious and satisfying gourmet meals of His word- but, they’ve not gone to much effort to share the good news! Are you like this? Have you been feeding on the blessed teachings of the BI a...

Disneyland!!

What has Jude being doing these days? Well , firstly, I have been playing hard, and surprisingly studying hard, too. The workload here in Japan is more than Melb Uni, I have more contact hours and there is always tests and homework after each lesson. So I have no choice but to manage my schedule better, to balance my study and play time better. Thank God that since coming to Japan, I have made many many great friends. They are just so wonderful and have been a big part of my life here in Japan. I thank God this is the answer to my prayer, because I prayed that I would make many friends here and have a great time together, and this is happening, and I am sure more are to come. OK HERE COMES DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you think of Tokyo, Disneyland is something you cannot miss. Although the name of the park is known asTokyo Disneyland, however, it is actually situated in the neighbouring prefecture called Chiba. Anyway, my lovely friend-Lydia and I took a crazy night trip to the Amazin...

We are made to see God

Japan is so much fun. I live everyday with excitement and joy. Though there are some interesting culture differences I discovered in the past few weeks ;sometimes shocked, sometimes surprised, and sometimes amazed! 1. Women do not eat at small ramen shops(counter type/stand type) and Japanese beef-don shops alone. One day I went into the shop alone and was eyed by the chefs from the beginning to end. At the end, I realised there was not a female in the shop, but only males. After asking around some Japanese people, they told me that it is the way it is, no one knows why, but they just live according to it. There is no set rules restricting women from eating at those shops, but women just don't go in alone. 2. It is a manner to on the water flowing sound in the toilet. Without doing so, Japanese people feel embarassed. Put your hand over the black sensor and the water flowing sound starts. 3. Most people reading on the train have a non transparent book cover covering the title pa...

I am so blessed

I am so thankful for what God has given me in Japan. I am thankful for the amazing Bible Study Fellowship here in Japan. Not only do we have a godly lady as our teaching leader, that speaks with great enthusiam, wisdom and clarity; but also have wonderful Japanese Christian ladies coming to seek the word of God with great desire and expectation EVERY WEEK. What wonderful works God has been doing here. I am super excited for God's cultivation in Japan, it's amazing!! I am thankful for the church I belong to. I am thankful for my bible study leader and lovely group members who greet me with love and care. The first time I went to the church, I was warmly welcomed by the people and never felt left out even for a minute! I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to share my faith with some people I have met. Please pray for my friend, who told me today that she would also like to come to church with me this Sunday. She is a girl in my dorm, from Cambodia and her name is............

Amazing God

First of all, congratulations to my Dad's baptism yesterday!! Heard that it was a joyful day, and he was baptised together with 524 other people in our city~ You can tell that it's a swimming pool!!!!! Yay~ The three sisters! Following by my youngest aunt, mum and third aunt! Beautiful... Today I went to a church invited by a young lady from our university. There was a flute concert at the church service and I was, I am sure everyone there was very very moved by the music played by the well-known flutist from Korea. After research, this artist graduated from The Juliard School and is known as one of the best flutists in Korea. Not only did he played amazing music, but the message he shared also gave me an impressive revelation from God. After he played a piece, he showed us his flutes and they were alto flute, flute and recorder. He told us that the alto flute was made by pure silver, the flute made by 18k pure gold (apparently there are only two in the world) and the record...

Prosperity in God

I am very much disturbed, namely, confused by the explanation in regards to prosperity. The world often says, men have infinite capabilities, as long as we work hard, set good goals, follow them step by step and not give up, we sure will prosper. In other words, we will obtain what we want. We can gain fame, become wealthy and enjoy more things life offers. People might create some mottos like, "Believe in yourself, never give up and success is yours". In reality, is that true? Do we actually reap more if we sow harder? Clearly, the world doesn't offer a satisfying answer in regards to living a real prosperous life. First question I would like to ask is, does being famous and wealthy mean prosperous? Secondly, what does prosperity mean? Now in some churches, they preach prosperity gospel, and I just feel some of the teaching has a tendency towards self help steps. Every time I hear it, I wonder if that is what God offers. Eg. "Have faith in God, yearn for more, then ...
