Face my failures

Facing my failures has been one of the most difficult tasks in my life so far. Again, God has brought light into this weakness and has given me a lesson to build up my courage to acknowledge my failure and not be ashamed of it.

I am facing a really difficult task God has given right now, and that is to accept the fact that I failed. In Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Even in a difficult situation like this, God is in control and will work for the good for those who love Him. He will turn a bad situation into a good one and I need to trust with my whole heart that He loves me and His ways are perfect.

Slowly I learn to accept my failure and still praise God for it, I know He has a purpose for it and it will not be in vain.

Father God, may your will be done and not mine!

Walking warrior

I feel like I have become a walking warrior after coming to Japan. In Japan, walking is so important to get around places. These few days, my dorm mate and I have walked more than we imagined, thanks to our "gifts" in directions. The worst trip was the one to our ward office to apply for our alien registration card. It took almost 45 minutes to get there. However, the trip was suppose to take only 25 minutes, so basically we spent half of the time getting lost. Thanks to our fabulous sense of directions, we have walked a lot these few days. Almost equivalent to a month of walking distance when I was in Australia. This is Shibuya, a big shopping district for youngsters. The area is filled with restaurants, department stores and clothes shops. Both of our eyes are puffy due to too much walking under the hot sun. At Shibuya station Before we took this photo, we were asked by a Japanese television station if they could film us. However I told her we are foreigners that our Japa...

God is good, very very good!

This time I have again experienced God's love and promises for me. It has shown me clearly that God is faithful and He does things in His own timing. And Judy, TRUST that I AM~ Last week had been a hectic week as many unexpected events happened. As people know, I am planning to go to Japan, and have been renting a house. Hence, before going, I need to sell all the furniture I own and clear the house by 5 th August. A month ago, I started plannig and had organised a storage place to put away everything and was pleased. Unexpectantly, a week ago, I was notified that I was not able to put away any of the furniture in the planned storage place. With no other choice, I quickily tried to find someone to sell to, a person expressed great interest and promised to buy everything from me, however, at the end the person did not end up buying anything. As a result, all these series of events happened had given me incredible stress and burden. In fact, I became extremely worried as having to se...

The workload here in Japan is more than Melb Uni, I have more contact hours and there is always tests and homework after each lesson. So I have no choice but to manage my schedule better, to balance my study and play time better. Thank God that since coming to Japan, I have made many many great friends. They are just so wonderful and have been a big part of my life here in Japan. I thank God this is the answer to my prayer, because I prayed that I would make many friends here and have a great time together, and this is happening, and I am sure more are to come. OK HERE COMES DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you think of Tokyo, Disneyland is something you cannot miss. Although the name of the park is known asTokyo Disneyland, however, it is actually situated in the neighbouring prefecture called Chiba.
