Disneyland!!

What has Jude being doing these days?
Well , firstly, I have been playing hard, and surprisingly studying hard, too.

The workload here in Japan is more than Melb Uni, I have more contact hours and there is always tests and homework after each lesson. So I have no choice but to manage my schedule better, to balance my study and play time better.

Thank God that since coming to Japan, I have made many many great friends. They are just so wonderful and have been a big part of my life here in Japan. I thank God this is the answer to my prayer, because I prayed that I would make many friends here and have a great time together, and this is happening, and I am sure more are to come.

OK HERE COMES DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you think of Tokyo, Disneyland is something you cannot miss. Although the name of the park is known asTokyo Disneyland, however, it is actually situated in the neighbouring prefecture called Chiba.

Anyway, my lovely friend-Lydia and I took a crazy night trip to the Amazing wonderland!!

Halloween Themed decoration!!

Cinderalla castle

You can tell that how excited we are to be at Disneyland! We are finally here~~

This is the girl who I always hang out with., we have gotten really close because we stay at the same dorm and have so many things in common; including having a great tendency in getting lost all the time. Thank you, my lovely friend, I love you^^

Sorry Lydia. I know you are excited, but we can't really see you.

People who are reading this, I know you must be thinking, "I wish I was there".

Yap!! It's a place no one can resist going....

So beautiful, so cute, and so much fun...

This photo was taken while queuing for the Pooh ride. I wish I could take photos of the ride, it was really really cute, but unfortunately it was prohibited!!! It really brought me back to my childhood, creating a sense of being in the storybook with Winne the pooh!

Beautiful tourist photo at the entrance. By the way, Lydia and I went to Disneyland on a Wednesday night, because the next day was our lovely Waseda Uni's foundation day, so that we got to have a bonus day off^^

Extra information for those who might be interested in coming to Disneyland in the future. Disneyland has a night entrance ticket starting from 6pm and closes at 10.30pm. The price is 2000 yen cheaper than the day ticket, hence, a lot of young people like us go there at nights in uniforms and carrying school bags...etc.

Monsters from toy story

This photo was taken towards the end of our fun time at Disneyland. Even though tired from walking and shouting, my excitement continued towards the end. I can't believe how many times I jumped until gotten this photo. Totally crazy la~

Look how silly I look ^^

Mickey land!! Yay. Don't you think we look alike? ..........Maybe not..
Thinking of this, my brother a few years ago has actually changed his name to Mickey-- assuming that he is as cute as him.. (no comment^^)

Disney merchandises are so popular you cannot believe how people purchase goods. It was as if everything was free, everyone who goes into a shop will end up carrying at least a bag when walking out of shop. Some super Disney lovers no doubt bought so much they could not even carry in their hands. I can only say that the popularity of Disney is inexplicable.

Even crazier here. Holding souvenirs. Certainly not very flexible!!!

This is the beautiful Disneyland station^^

We got so tired at the end we didn't have energy to take anymore photos after this. That day, we arrived home around 12.30am, exhausted but had a sweet sweet dream^^

We will definitely find a time to go to Disneysea, too.

Jude is finally in Japan

Hello my dear friends, Omata sei shimashita! Thank you for waiting. I have finally updated~~ This is a phrase Japanese use very often, especially in the hospitality industry. One thing I find funny about this phrase is that, whether or not the shop assitants have kept you waiting, they say it anyway. Well, I just want to say that it feels great to see smiles on the shop assitants' faces and seeing them willing to help at any time. It's something that people in my country really need to learn. Maybe not to the Japanese standard, but at least not to shout at customers. Thank you also for visiting this blog. From now on, I will be posting my photos and stories to share with you while I am in Japan. The start already has been adventurous, I am sure from now on, the stories may be more and more exciting. So please come often to keep track of my fun journey. Please do leave a comment when you can, or a :) smile, anything you leave keeps me writing. First of all, congratulations to m

We are made to see God

Japan is so much fun. I live everyday with excitement and joy. Though there are some interesting culture differences I discovered in the past few weeks ;sometimes shocked, sometimes surprised, and sometimes amazed! 1. Women do not eat at small ramen shops(counter type/stand type) and Japanese beef-don shops alone. One day I went into the shop alone and was eyed by the chefs from the beginning to end. At the end, I realised there was not a female in the shop, but only males. After asking around some Japanese people, they told me that it is the way it is, no one knows why, but they just live according to it. There is no set rules restricting women from eating at those shops, but women just don't go in alone. 2. It is a manner to on the water flowing sound in the toilet. Without doing so, Japanese people feel embarassed. Put your hand over the black sensor and the water flowing sound starts. 3. Most people reading on the train have a non transparent book cover covering the title pa

I am so blessed

I am so thankful for what God has given me in Japan. I am thankful for the amazing Bible Study Fellowship here in Japan. Not only do we have a godly lady as our teaching leader, that speaks with great enthusiam, wisdom and clarity; but also have wonderful Japanese Christian ladies coming to seek the word of God with great desire and expectation EVERY WEEK. What wonderful works God has been doing here. I am super excited for God's cultivation in Japan, it's amazing!! I am thankful for the church I belong to. I am thankful for my bible study leader and lovely group members who greet me with love and care. The first time I went to the church, I was warmly welcomed by the people and never felt left out even for a minute! I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to share my faith with some people I have met. Please pray for my friend, who told me today that she would also like to come to church with me this Sunday. She is a girl in my dorm, from Cambodia and her name is.........
